SUNDAY LESSON HIGHLIGHTS

Focus:
This week, our children will prepare to celebrate the World Day of Prayer.

Scripture:
“. . . I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.” Exodus 9:29

Affirmation:
We are living expressions of Divine light flowing forth into the world.

Bringing It to Life:
This week, our children prepare to celebrate the World Day of Prayer on September 9th.

Our 4 to 6 year olds will help to decorate our new prayer box and brainstorm ideas for our “Prayer for the World.”

Our 7 to 10 year olds will write out prayer lists, help to decorate our new prayer box and help to write our “Prayer for the World.”

Our 11 to 13 year olds will write out prayer lists, help to decorate our new prayer box and lead the younger children in writing our “Prayer for the World.”

Our Teen Class will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
